Hot chocolate In Canete: Playa Hermosa

Thanks to God we could do the "chocolatadas" (hot chocolate and fruit cake) in Cañete and Ica.
Thank you to some friends from Calvary Chapel Oak Harbor this year we could make t-shirts for the kids in Canete. Hot chocolate and fruit cake were delicious!!

Gracias a Dios pudimos realizar las chocolatadas en Ica y Canete. Gracias a algunos amigos de Calvary Chapel Oak Harbor este año pudimos hacer lindos politos para los niños de Canete. El chocolate y panetón estuvo delicioso.

Now we have our kid's classroom. They can draw, paint, etc. while theirs parents learn the word of God. Thank you God!!!!
And now, Kristel, Lina and Mirna are making a very good job drawing the walls.

Por fin tenemos nuestro salón de niños. Ahora ellos podrán pintar, dibijar, etc. mientras sus padres estudian la Palabra de Dios. Gracias Señor!!
Ahora, Kristel, Lina, Analy (hermana de Kristel) y Mirna están haciendo un buen trabajo dibujando en las paredes.

Ministrying in Ica Ministrando en Ica

Ica is a city located to 4,5 hour south of Lima and 2,5 hours south of Canete. They had been praying for a Calvary Chapel church for long time and now is when God is working.
A few weeks ago Pastor Brian From Koinonia - Lima and Pastor Jaime from Koinonia - Cañete began to go to Ica to begin teaching the Word. Every Friday we (Pastor Brian, Pastor Jaime, Kristel from Canete and some times another persons) go together and have two bible studies, the first one in a place called Tinguina, there is open air church we call it "the church under the tree" a group of 12 adults come every week and Kristel is in charge of the children.
The second bible study is in Mario's parent's house. there are 15 persons very hungry for the Word of God. God is edifying His church in this place is an honor to be part in this!!!

Ica está ubicada a 4,5 horas al sur de Lima y a 2,5 horas al sur de Canete. Mucha gente a estado orando por una iglesia por largo tiempo y parece que el tiempo del Señor ha llegado.
Hace algunas semanas Pastor Brian de Koinonia - Lima y Pastor Jaime de Koinonia - Canete empezaron a ir a Ica y enseñar la Palabra de Dios. Cada viernes vamos juntos: Pastor Brian, Pastor Jaime, Kristel y alguna otra personas que pueda acompañarnos y tenemos dos estudios biblicos, el primero en un lugar llamado Tinguina. Aqui hay un aprox. de 12 personas y tenemos un estudio al aire libre. Kristel se encarga de los niños. Luego tenemos otro estudio en la casa de los padres de Mario y allí hay un aprox. de 15 personas muy interesadas en la Palabra.
El Señor está edificando su iglesia en Ica y es un honor ser parte en esto.

A new classroom in the church. Un salón nuevo en la iglesia

This days we are building a classroom in the church. Some times, when parents come to the church they bring their kids and some times is a little hard because these kids don't have a place where to stay. but in a few days we will have a place where the children will be able to draw, paint and watch videos. Thank you God for your provision!!

Estos días estamos construyendo un salon en la iglesia. Algunas veces cuando los adultos vienen a la iglesia traen a sus hijos y el estudio es un poco dificil de llevar porque estos niños no tienen en la iglesia un lugar donde estar. Pero, en unos dias vamos a tener un lugar donde los niños podrán pintar, dibujar y ver videos. Gracias Señor por tu provisión!!

Calvary Chapel Cornerstone - New Jersey

A missionary team of New Jersey came the last week to Canete. Very good workers. Two families were blessing with demolishing their houses.
we had a little accident, a cement block fell in Dominick's head provoking him a cut, he had 10 stitches in the head.
We love you Dominick!!

Un grupo misionero de New Jersey vino a Canete la semana pasada. Ellos estuvieron haciendo trabajo de demolición en el barrio de la iglesia. dos familias fueron bendecidas al demolerse sus casas. Muy buenos trabajadores.
Tuvimos un pequeño accidente, un bloque de cemento calló en la cabeza de Dominick y tuvieron que ponerle 10 punots en la cabeza. Gracias a Dios no fue algo muy grave.

Medical missions Campaña médica

We had two days of medical assitance in Canete. A group of doctors and nurses from Orlando USA came and help us attending to 420 patients. Some of these people start to come to church this week.

Tuvimos dos dias de campaña medica, un grupo de médicos y enfermeras que vino de Orlando USA vino y atendió a 420 pacientes. La iglesia estuvo llena de gente y algunos han empezado a venir a la iglesia.
